FR – Nicolas Lambert est cartographe au sein du réseau interdisciplinaire pour l’aménagement du territoire européen (UMS RIATE). Impliqué dans le programme de recherche européen ESPON, ses travaux portent principalement sur la représentation graphique de l’information spatiale, activité dans laquelle il développe une dimension critique et radicale. Membre du réseau Migreurop et du comité français de cartographie, il a participé à la réalisation de plusieurs ouvrages comme l’Atlas de l’Europe dans le monde (2008), l’Atlas des migrants en Europe (2009 , 2012, 2017), le Manuel de Cartographie (2016) et Mad Maps (2019). Il enseigne la cartographie à l’université de Paris.
EN – Nicolas Lambert is a cartographer, member of the interdisciplinary network for the European spatial planning (RIATE). Involved in the European research program ESPON, his works mainly deal with the graphic representation of spatial information, for which he is developing a critical and radical dimension. Also member of the network Migreurop and of the French committee for cartography, he has taken part in the production of different publications such as the Atlas of Europe in the world (2008), The Atlas of migrants in Europe (2009, 2012, 2017), a Handbook of cartography (2016) and Mad Maps (2019). He teaches cartography at the university of Paris.
